Baby Allergies and Diaper rash: Are diaper wipes the enemy?

Our 7 month old recently cut his first tooth, or shall I say teeth. Yes. He cut two teeth at once. He had all of the nightmare teething symptoms; diahrea, fever, irritability..... Thanks to the diahrea, he got diaper rash.
I used all of my mommy skills trying to get rid of the rash, to no avail. I asked advise from friends and family, then tried all of that. Still, no better. I was honestly considering taking him to the hospital, when, as a last resort, I decided to look online. God bless the internet! You can find the answer to almost everything, and an opinion about everything else.
A few pages into my research, I discovered that I am not the only one who has had this problem. Lots of ladies said to lay him out with no diaper, change diapers frequently, feed mild comfort foods, use diaper creams. Let me tell you, we bought every diaper cream on the market, and nothing worked. boudreaux butt paste worked the best, but nothing got rid of the rash. Then I read a few hundred more ideas on the web.
Finally, I saw a few posts that said that the diaper wipes are the enemy! They are so full of perfumes and chemicals, that it's not a big surprise, is it? But the perfumes and chemicals are not the real problem. I was already buying hypo-allergenic, natural ingredient wipes. So, what was the problem? The ALOE EXTRACT in the wipes! Justice is allergic to Aloe. So much for hypo-allergenic!
The worst thing is, that I searched far and wide for wipes with no aloe, and no perfumes, and couldn't find any. Not even on the web.
What is the best solution that I found? I took those wipes and washed them out in warm water with a small amount of Johnson's baby wash and then put them back in the plastic tub moist. Within 24 hours of when I started using the cleaned out wipes, the rash cleared up. I wanted to share about this, because our of all of the advice on the web, this advise was rare.
Ladies, if you try this method, please leave a comment so other moms can hear what you think.
